Sand Dollar Farms has gone through a tough, eventful year. Several prized animals were lost. Health issues became a constant battle with some of the animals. Fencing became unreliable and had to be repaired. Yet all of this has not made us quit. If anything it has only improved our management practices and made us more determined to succeed. This year some of our stock will be shown at a few ABGA sanctioned shows. Tiffany Alemany of Bad News Boers will be handling them. She has become a partner of ours. We are confidant our stock will perform well and hope to raise awareness of the quality animals we possess. We also hope to be experimenting with AI in the near future. We purchased a doe bred with Collateral Damage semen and had been pleased with the result. This will allow us to improve our genetic pool with considerably less cost than purchasing a buck from all the herds we admire. Sand Dollar Farms is taking steps in the right direction.
